Today, I went to the Adventureland, in Des Moines, with my club, Coe Alliance.

To go to Des Moines from here, Cedar Rapids, it takes two hours by car. My friend drove us to there. Highway in the United States is for free different from Japan, that窶冱 why it is called free way. There is no mountain in Iowa, we could see the large corn fields over on the horizon.

After 2-hour drive, we got to the Adventureland. Many guests came today, most of them were families. The park was comparatively big.

Actually, I don窶冲 like roller coaster or such kind of rides. But there were so many 窶徭uch kind of rides窶�. It was horrified me.

At first, we got a ride on 窶�The Sidewinder窶�. It was extremely scarey as the pictures below shows. It went back and forth, and at the same time, up and down with rotation. It repeated unnatural movement so many times that I couldn窶冲 open my eyes. After getting off, I couldn窶冲 walk straight, I lost my control. I won窶冲 ride never again.

I screamed so loudly again and again in Japanese. My friends wondered what I said in Japanese. I just said 窶彜top it窶� or 窶廬 don窶冲 wanna ride窶� (but in fact, both are the almost same translation. Do you know how I screamed?). I was so upset. I realized after the ride this kind of movement was completely unacceptable for me.

Next, we rode 窶�The Raging River窶�. It was a kind of splash down. It was so scarely as well. Not only did it rotate, but also I got wet.

I felt dizzy and a headache after the ride.

And then, we went to 窶�The Outlaw窶�. This was a kind of roller coaster, but it is unusual one; it was made of woods. One of my friends called it 窶彷licker窶�. It shook continuously during the ride. It was exceedingly scarely. It seemed to me that the ride lasted so long time. The situation was critical.

After the ride, I felt nausea, so sick. I took a rest. My friend made me drink some water, and gave me frozen yogurt and popcorn. I was sitting on the chair for a while, then, gradually my condition was getting better.

We went to other rides after that, but all of these seemed to me hard to ride, so I didn窶冲 get on anymore. 窶弋he Outlaw窶� defeated me completely窶ｦ

For dinner, we went to the Italian restaurant. We had salad, bread, ravioli, macaroni and chocolate cake. It was more luxurious dinner than usual. It tasted so good.

Although all rides scared me, I had a very good day.

In fact, the 窶廨ay Day窶� was held at the Adventureland. We and other concerned people, about 20 to 30, made up a group, and then, we entered the park in a special price.
I saw many stereotypical families in the park, on the contrary, I didn窶冲 see any gay and lesbian couples besides us. This implies that the minorities still remain unknown to the public despite the minorities definitely exist in our society. They are always ignored, treated as if they were not there or they are abnormal. It is a big problem of our society. It has to be built more generous society for sexuality. As a result, discrimination against gender or sexuality will reduce. This is one of my ideals. I hope such society will be realized.
