I got up at quarter to 7am. I was so relieved since I was able to get up as I planned. In addition, I couldn窶冲 sleep well last night, so I was worried about the early-morning get up. I had a breakfast, beagle and coffee, for free. And then, I left the hostel.

It was also the cold morning. In order to go to the airport inexpensively, taking subway/train is a proper way. Like the commuter train in Tokyo, many people get on the subway in the downtown of Chicago. I arrived at the airport without any difficulty. I got a ticket and head to the security check. As you may know, the security check in the United States is 窶忖nnecessarily.窶� It was really annoying. I had to take out my lap top from my packed bag, take off the jacket and shoes. As I expected, I was not allowed to go through the gate; my belt alarmed. It took me long time to pass it. It was so troublesome. While I was waiting for boarding, I saw many familiar faces; I realized that I go back to Japan truly. During the flight, I enjoyed talking with my neighbor; a pretty girl from Malaysia. She is five years old. Somehow she got interested in me, and asked many questions. It was so nice to have a conversation with her. She sometimes corrected my English. Also, I read a book, since I didn窶冲 feel sleepy, I could read it a lot. The book was the official reader of the movie Fahrenheit 9/11. I really enjoyed it.

I would like to state my goal/duty during this stay in Japan.
First of all, I will keep studying English. Journals should be written in English. I will try to read book/newspaper definitely once a day. If I could think in English, that would be good.
Secondly, I have to get motivated by talking to lots of people; in seminar or club and with other friends. Not only do I tell my own experience, but also I will try to discuss anything and get inspired.
Then, I take a rest. This would be the most important. Finally, I will get ready to the next semester. Enjoy Japan! This is a vacation. The airplane is landing. Although it is unexpected stay, I hope this vacation would be good break.
