Now I窶冦 thinking about the next term registration. In this semester, I am in the ESL course, but next semester, we can take regular courses. Usually, students take 4 or 3 courses different from Japan. (I have some friends taking 5, 6 or 7 courses. That will be extremely hard. That窶冱 amazing! )

My purpose of this studying abroad is to study Multicultural Studies. Now I am working on it. Then, during the next semester, I will take 4 courses.
First of all, I want to focus on more specific issues over the Multicultural Studies. I will take 窶廣frican American Studies窶� course. In this course, I am going to study about African American and the United States. I think it will be kind of history class. It is not easy to study this course in college in Japan. This is one of the reasons why I came here.
I窶冦 also interested in political science. Fortunately, Coe College offers me proper course; "Religion and World Politics.窶� Religion influences so much on the politics especially in the United States. It is very different from Japan. Sounds really interesting.
In addition, I will take 窶廩uman Sexuality窶� class. As the title shows, in this course, I am going to study sexuality and gender. This course belongs to the Nurse department. That will give me a new perspective.
Furthermore, I will continue the choir class next semester. This course is different from others. I will get 0.30 credits in this course; others are 1.00 credit. These are all related to my concern or major.

Now, I窶冦 thinking about adding one more one-credit class.
I have already studied gender before I came here, but continuing study gender in English sounds really interesting. There are two courses about gender studies.
Or taking one more political science course is also attractive. Studying ancient political theory sounds interesting. But it seems to be hard to me, because this class is entirely new field for me.
Also, adding one more religion class about New Testament sounds rather exciting.
I have to choose only one course from above. I will talk about registration with my advisor tomorrow. But I haven窶冲 decided yet.

Hum窶ｦ I can imagine easily that I will be much busier than now in next semester. But it doesn窶冲 matter. I am really looking forward to attending these classes. Do you have any good idea or suggestion for taking classes?
