Today I went to the volunteer work at Polk Elementary school. It has been a quite long time to visit there since I had worked last time. (I think it was February.) As I presumed, most of the students didn窶冲 remember my name, and I was asked 窶忤ho are you?窶� many times. That was kind of funny though, they remembered me as soon as I answered and began to play with me.

Today was a special activity day; we went to bowling! We were so excited for it. It was the second time to go there for me, but for some students, it was the first time for their life. Yeah, that must be true because they are second graders, just 7 or 8 years old. But they were doing very well. Thanks to the bumpers, nobody got garter. Instead, surprisingly, many students got strikes, and they got so much excited. (I got one strike too :)) Our teacher, Mrs. Tory, also played very well (and her dance was so nice).

Since we had to leave there at 530pm, we didn窶冲 have much time to finish one game, but it was so amusing, and at the same time, I was so overwhelmed students窶� energy; they didn窶冲 stop playing with me.

Even though I hadn窶冲 expected bowling today, I went to work really good day. I am going to visit the school at least once a week, hopefully more than once during this month.
