 Collage.

Today, I watched the Collage show performed by the music major students. The Collage consists of a dozens of singers and a band. It is one of the classes that is offered by the music department. They just went to New York City to perform couple of shows during the Spring Break. Some of my friends joined in. Today窶冱 concert was the last concert of this academic year. Not only did the students but also many those who concerned or live around here come to see the show.

It was a really great show. It was actually third time to see them; however, this time was the best that I have ever seen. I felt that they definitely have been getting better and better. Songs, performances were much better than before, and in addition, a bunch of soloists were outstanding. They are so good singers. Most of them are taking Concert Choir class, and needless to say, they are the most reliable students in that class too. I thought I could have practiced the piano or something so that I am good at music and especially singing. I am really not good at it. But I have a kind of ambition that the time when I got much older than now, I want to begin to learn the piano. I am not sure if it will be really realized, but I want to. I look forward to it.

I think the biggest difference is that this show or trip to New York City is a part of the class. It won't be likely to happen in Waseda or other Japanese universities. I am sure We could see the similar activities in Waseda too, like when we were in the ski team, we went to several different places to join in the college races. So, in that respect, I don't think American students and Japanese students are different.
