We had the 窶廛ragon boat race窶� today. We, the exchange students, and the freshmen made teams, and competed.

Dragon boat is a kind of canoe, originally it comes from China, decorated like a Dragon. 9 people get on the boat on each side, and each rows at the same time, same pace. Timing is everything, so the leader beats the drum in order to make sure the pace. It looks easy, but actually, it窶冱 not so easy. Timing will not goes simultaneously.

It was taken place in a lake, about 10 teams participated in.
When the starting whistle blew, we started to row. The start is most important, it needs to speed up quickly.
When it came to the latter half, we were getting so tired, but we had to keep going, because the rival team has to be getting tired as well. Although we lost all 6 races, it was so fun.

We played volleyball in the spare time. I enjoyed very much, and was so sunburned.

After getting back to the college, we had the dinner party. The winner was prized.

I feel so sleepy now, so tired. Fall term starts tomorrow.
