 Watched "Kill Bill".

I watched today the movie 窶廳ill Bill窶 part of the Asian Literature class. About 25 students in this class, most of them are from Japan, and the other from United States. We discuss difference of the culture each other from each view; how the Japanese people think American people, and vice versa.

窶廳ill Bill窶 is one of the examples of the difference of the viewpoint, professor said. The story was made by Americans, and it describes the revenge.

However, that movie itself was completely unacceptable.
The last scene was, for example, in the Japanese big banquet hall. But such hall no longer exists in modern Japan. Then, a lot of murders took place, it really harmed me. Actors chopped man窶冱 arms, legs, neck using Japanese sword in the fighting. Most of them seemed to be made by computer graphics, injuries suffered from pain with crying. It was extremely grotesque.

I didn窶冲 understand what was the author wanted to say wholly. Audience will accept an exaggerated image of Japan such as people live in Japan still have sword, and use it, there are many modern samurai people. It is not cultural difference, but misunderstanding. It was thoroughly unpleasant movie.
