I have a 窶彡onversation buddy窶�. This is my private English teacher who is native speaker of English. Our instructor had us coordinated to mainly study conversational English.
At first, applicants and Japanese students filled out the application form when we signed up. In that form, there are some questions for 窶徇atchmaking窶�; hobbies, clubs, classes, interests, or foods. I wrote about my experiences that studying gender, and founded the club, don窶冲 like to eat marine foods, like to go ski, traveled some countries.

About one week later, the teacher introduced me a partner. My partner窶冱 name is Gen. We had met before at the club meeting, but didn窶冲 know each other then. We both are interested in the gender studies, he takes gender studies course in this semester, and I have been studying it, so that teacher decided to make us meet each other.

Let me introduce you to my partner.
He is a sophomore. He is from Philadelphia, very far from here.
First of all, he prefers to learn languages. He had studied Spanish, French in high school, in addition, in college, has studied Ancient Greek and Latin. It is unbelievable for me, it is enough hard to study only English. (In fact, I have to study German after getting back to home. It is embarrassing.)
His parents were from Hungary, but they stopped to speak Hungarian at home when he was a child, so he can窶冲 speak Hungarian. He said he wants to go to Hungary someday, so he will study Hungarian again.

He also takes so many courses in this semester; Philosophy, Fiction Writing, Logic, Latin... He has classes from 9:30am until 4pm everyday. Besides, he belongs to the Coe Cosmos which is a club publishing the newspaper once a week. Furthermore, he wanted to be a conversation partner窶ｦ
As you see, my partner is quite active person. But I was also such kind of person when I was a freshman and sophomore. I went to the any kind of events which took place at college, attended the various sorts of clubs, and took lots of class, some of them were voluntary, of course, studied a lot. Finally, I founded the club. During continuing such a hard life, I found 窶徇y way窶� which is the way I should go and pursuit through the whole life. In my case, it was the gender studies. I decided it when I was sophomore, in the latter semester.
He has lots of interests, and not decided the major yet. He will find the way sooner or later.

We are going to meet every dinner as possible as we can. Otherwise I will speak Japanese with friends. I want to have a discussion with him someday.
